How do we determine the right prograM?
3x a year, HTS screens all students in grades K-5. All the assessment data is then analyzed to determine which students are in need of additional instruction and/or interventions. Students are placed in specific programs that will address their academic gaps. If your child is in need of a pull-out reading intervention, you will receive a written notice that will specify which program your child will be receiving. If you ever have any questions, you can reach out to your child's homeroom teacher or the reading specialist.
MCLASS INTERVENTIONmClass Intervention covers the five big ideas of reading: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The program comes with a mix of print and digital components to help you serve students.
